15061 Tasting Notes
Not my favourite tea from Butiki but it was nice to try it out. Today I was really picking up on the cream notes, but i wouldn’t call this cheesecake. Overall, a fun tea to try and play with but nothing i need to keep around permanently :) thanks for the adventures stacy!
thanks again to YYZ for sending this one my way. this is a really interesting tea for me. I don’t get much in the way of chocolate notes, but i am getting a slight hint of malt with a bit of spiciness?? to it. i’m guessing that’s what YYZ describes as cinnamon/sandalwood. I actually am enjoying this because of it’s unique taste. it’s similar to other teas that i’ve had but slightly different. Just a good time :) thanks YYZ!
I’m so confused as to how/why there’s no rating for this one from me as i’ve had it a few times now. Oh well, picked this in the morning to kick things off because i had a house to clean up after having a bunch of ppl over on friday. We still have painting and things to do before we can start putting things on the wall and really getting in to the last of things with the move, but it’s slow going with everything being crazy at work and trying to actually enjoy our weekends occasionally lol.
this is a fantastic tea. I really like the malty tones in this one and the smoothness of the tea itself. Glad i picked up a bunch of this one from Teavivre, i really do love their black teas :)
i always, always forget how much i love this tea. It sits neglected in my cupboard all the time. Silly Sil. i pulled this one out last night as i wanted something solid, but i’m trying to hold off on my remaining LB… gah! so i had this one..and it was delicious! yummy! wonderful. :) it was slightly smokey and that was just perfect for yesterday.
Whoops. I do the same. I’ve got 1 oz just sitting, waiting for me to notice it!
(Well, I just don’t want to open it because it’s sealed and I have a bunch of random bagged teas floating around begging for attention!)
sooo much to do today. Just catching up on a few backlogs from yesterday. this was another one that i had – i blended this with the cream from tea G to have a caramel cream. i have to say, i am really digging the teas from tea G. i don’t know that i ever want 100g so i may need to only shop there when i’m in chicago…or do split orders with people but their flavours are tasty and i enjoy the base that they use.
haha if i ever do an order via my tea mule i’ll let you know. or if we end up in chicago again – i may have to go for work this summer
I need to try to take a trip to Chicago to visit the harp factory & various tea places. Maybe in the fall.
Dear Steam. Get an online store. Thank you.
Another cup from last night, and at this point i need to bump the rating up because dear lord, if you steep this a long time…its amazing…especially when paired with a strawberry daiquiri (or two….)
my pouch is getting low….stupid lack of online store! bah!
Final Count: 189 [119 in my fake cupboard]
The way I drink things…maaaaybe. Lol but we need to come up with a way for me to reciprocate or send all my money to you :) I should have bought more when I was there, bought it would be enough but forgot about sharing with cavo lol
thank you roswell strange this was one of my teas last night, sitting on the balcony chatting with the first of our friends who came over. Sadly, the larger group didn’t leave until almost 2am so i can recall absolutely nothing about this tea except that i downed it and kept looking for me, so i’ll take that as a win haha sooooo appreciate the share Roswell lol wish i had a better note for it, but i DID really like it
