this one came to me via YYZ and was another early morning, get me through this day, tea. This yunnan is a fruity sort of yunnan. On the whole i find that i prefer the sort of malty, chocolate, cocoa-y sort of yunnan. that’s not to say that this one isn’t bad, but it’s not the type that i prefer. it does reinforce that i need to get time to place an order with Capital teas though, as there are a number of tea there that i would likely really enjoy. This was a free sample in the order that cavocorax sent me so i had it way early this morning in the hopes that it would carry me through. sadly this has the same or similar base to other HI black teas and i am not a fan.

thanks for sending this one my way VariaTEA i think i would like this one a lot better without the rose. Initial sips of this are really nice and then the floral takes over and makes this a note happy sort of cup :( I am glad to have tried it though, as always you never know what you’ll like!

12/28 sipdowns i’ve got a few backlogs but as i’m still working it’s hard to be logging tea while i’m drinking it :) I am a tired girl and i’m pretty sure i’m goign to fall on my face at some point today but for now i’m doing ok with the tea and comfy clothes lol thanks again for sharing this one omgsrsly i think this one ranks pretty high in terms of assam for me. i can see this one just being a good all around sort of tea :)

This was the other bagged tea i grabbed to make my life easier while i finished up testing. this is pretty tasty for a bagged tea, but i have to say – annoying that i had to cut the bag open to get at the tea bag lol no easy rip line or anything.. so i was worried i’d cut the tea bag. this one’s pretty mango-y and not at all bitter. thanks for this one omgsrsly

every time today that i’ve tried to go out or go to bed my testing technology people have called me. this time for a good reason – as they were about 4 hrs ahead of schedule..so i can go to bed before midnight and NOT have to wake up at 3am woot woot! i had this one to celebrate – thanks again for sending these myway omgsrsly something about these just makes me happy heh

dexter sent this one my way for my birthday with a few other teas for cold brewing. This one is quite tasty though i couldn’t tell you what i’m drinking tonight – this was maybe not the best choice after kaphaa lol still though, i like this one quite a bit :)

I had the last of this as a cold brew and as it turns out i was thirsty and pretty much drank it in 5 seconds flat. lol i guess that’s a win? :) i’d order this again though not until i get through more of my cupboard heh

this one is kinda not really a sipdown since it’ll be back in my cupboard tomorrow but today i am TOTALLY allowing this one to count. i mixed the very last of this with the cacao from herbal infusions that cavocorax sent me for my bday…SO DARN DELICIOUS! thanks for that tip courtney :) I just wish HI didn’t suck some serious ass as far as their customer service goes :(
