I snuck a bag of this from the hotel while i was travelling. I’m really glad now that i did. this might need to become a regular in my cupboard sometime. it’s the right balance of malty keemun goodness. this is a great afternoon tea for me today haha bumping the rating up a bit as i’m finding this to be really pleasant today.

mmmmmmm…. so i picked this one up, because on my wishlist i had anna’s from tin roof teas but got confused and thought that it was anna’s from tea gschewoiruoewiru….

I’m super glad that i did. while the dry aroma isn’t all that fantastic, brewed – this is a really nice raspberry tea. Hot, it was delicious and as it cooled, it was still a pleasant cup of tea. I only picked up a sample of this one, but i’d consider picking up more the next time i’m in chicago again…AS LONG, as i get through some of my teas… lol

this was a sample from tea gscoiewrowieru…. and i’m largely unimpressed. there is very little that is tangerine like or yogurt like to me. I made sure to get bits of all of that in my teaspoons and i’m really just getting a vaguely citrus like green oolong. It smelled really nice, but i’m glad i just picked up the sample.

In an effort to trying and actually get through some of my puerh samples, i figured i should try to have 1-2 today, since my day is pretty much shot thanks to work stuff. I like this one, for much of the same reason i really love wild Monk from mandala…that smokey taste in the background of a smooth tasting brew. I’m not going to wax poetic about this one, but it’s one that i could see picking up a cake of, in the future when we have a proper place for me to have mountains of puerh!

I finally had this as a hot brew and it was really nice. It’s not something i’d need to keep in my cupboard permanently but i am glad that cavo made us try this one :) it’s been a nice enjoyable tea. I think i prefer hot to cold brewing, and i think this would likely be pretty tasty if i hot brewed and then had it cold with a litle sweetner to really make the grape flavour pop!

This was another tea from last night/early this morning. It wasn’t what i expected, but i was also drinking it from a travel mug, which i don’t necessarily like to do for my first time drinking a tea. So the verdict is out on this one until i get a proper cup of it :)

Another one from last night, of course with a splash of maple syrup to really bring out the smokey notes AND because it’s deliciously sweet smokey yum! I swear this bag is like an unending bag…i swear i’ve been “almost out” for 5 cups now…

i had this one in the wee small hours of this morning…or late last night if you want to look at it that way. Release weekend = Sil’s been up all night, though not as long as if we hadn’t had to roll back :( such a pain in the arse…and if i don’t get to ruin my weekend next weekend for this same shit, then all my other work this year gets replanned…. which would be the suck. glad i had this one with me

I’ve been drinking this most of the day because i’ve not only really enjoyed but i’ve been too lazy to keep changing things up while i try to get my life organised again :) Sorry to see this one go, but it will likely be a reorder in the future! :)

I had this one this afternoon while trying to add all my teas in to my cupboard lol It takes a while because i need to date them, add them to my spreadsheet, find them in steepster, add them if they aren’t there…but i’m done. At least until tuesday when i get the teas that my tea mule is bringing up for me lol

When i left on my trip, i was at 95. Now that i’m back, my cupboard is at 133 ( + 7 inbound, so nearly 140 if i don’t’ drink some before the teas get here…)
