2884 Tasting Notes
And its sipped down! (I think. This is the sort of bagged tea that might suddenly spring an extra packet at you from the bottom of a purse or a backpack, but hey, its close enough)
Its a basic mint, which is no bad thing. I am immensely fond of basic mint, so its a nice cup to cling to on a cold morning.
Today has been nuts. It is likely that it will continue to be nuts. Arrgh. I was so hoping that this week would be easier than it is.
Oh well.
I grabbed my remaining sachets of this blend as my “other” work tea, and the way this day is going I may just drink them all down.
Even if its not a great tea blend, holding the warm mug is sometimes all it takes to lift your spirits.
I arrived at work, for what promised (threatened?) to be a very busy day, and discovered I had made two tactical errors.
One- I had not brought a new “other tea” for my desk. (My at work tea formula being two black teas, and one other sort of tea)
Two- though I had noted I was almost out of paper filters at my desk, I had not done anything, you know, useful in the way of brining new ones. So I am now down to one.
Argh. I have only myself to blame, and that’s annoying. Someone else to blame is always good.
I tried my first cup of this today. Its an interesting blend, with lapsang, spices, and a touch of orange.
I like all of these things individually, but I’m not entirely convinced that they are blending as well as I hoped they would.
Fortunatly I’ve got tons of this, and can play around with it.
