2965 Tasting Notes
Oh no! I cannot rate this one! I didnt even try it.
My boyfriend had breakfast with me this morning, and, of course,I offered him his choice of teas. He picked out this one, and so I have no review for you.
I will say that he added milk, and didnt finish it all.
Gah, worst Steepster review in the history of the world!
Thanks again to Fuzzy_Peachkin who sent this my way, even if my boyfriend was the one to drink it.
Well, I liked my sample of this well enough that I ordered four oz of it, and it arrived late last week, with a couple of other teas that I’d convinced myself to buy.
Tragedy! All my other tins arrived safely, but something had happened to this one, where it had been partially crushed, and the lid had come off, so there was loose tea in the shipping box. Horrors!
However, most of it was still in the tin, and as luck would have it, I had an empty tea tin standing by, so decanted it into the new tin at once.
Had this for breakfast, as I’m getting back my equilibrium after a drated sinus infection. I feel much more able to taste things today, so a cup of this was just lovely.
Moral of the story is always have an empty tea tin, just in case of emergency!
Gah! This has got to be the most frustrating tea that I own. Every time I steep it up its diffrent.
Today its got the coffee taste back, which is unfortunate (I hate coffee), and less salty goodness.
Grr. I will understand you, tea. (Shakes fist at the sky)
I really have to try this one. Even with a mixed up review like this, it just catches my attention! I better find the nearest Davidstea to my new house!
Now this is a holiday tea. Spicy without being overwhelming, subtly citrus-y, and just so, so nice.
This morning I am better than yesterday (just in time for work), and so I have ventured on a much better tea, if still seasonally inappropriate.
I am almost out of this. I very much hope this comes back in the winter!
This has been languishing in my cupboard for ages. A friend sent it to me last year in a care package, mostly, I suspect, for the tin, which has a cute little image of London on it. This sort of tea is not what I usually reach for.
Still, it seems like an excelent day to drink the teas I do not really care about, and so I brewed some up.
Well, its black tea. Its not bitter, which can be a worry, but its not very impressive. I almost never add milk or sugar to my teas, but I might give this one a try with additives in the near future.
Lol! Well I’m glad someone drank it. He used the whole pouch? No wonder he didn’t finish- I have a feeling it would be strongly bitter that way.
Yes, I was equally surpised. I’ll have to ask him, and see what he thought of it.
