2967 Tasting Notes
I’ve altered my orignial score of this. It was my very favorite during the early days of tea drinking, and while I no longer am so compleatly devoted to it, its still nice.
This is sweet and mellow, with a pleasant lightness. On a morning, like this one, where I do need a quick cup of tea, its exactly the right thing.
I have had a long day, and still have to go stab people (nobody panic, I’m a fencer. No blood!) so I am fortifying myself with a cup of this sweet nectar.
I am almost out! Horrors! How did I get to this point? Well, it wont stay gone from my cupboard for very long.
I am cheating with this. (can one cheat at tea?) A tea bag suggests a single serving of tea, but I’ve crammed a bunch into one of my tea pots and brewed it up that way. I was also hoping that the concentration of tea would improve the flavor.
Nope. Drat.
Well, down the hatch anway!
Edit- SIPDOWN!
Second cup of my morning was this delcious blend. This is one of my teas for all seasons. In just about any weather, at any time of year, if someone suggests a cup of Tower of London, I will certainly say yes, and drink it up with great pleasure.
I have this in sachets, but next time I’ll get it loose leaf.
This tea is magnificent. Beyond every expectation for sure, transendant, and just so, so delicious.
My sister gave me a little bit of this several months ago for my birthday, and I’ve been greedily hording it. Well, enough of that! Tea is for drinking! I still have enough for a small cup, when I will enjoy on a lovely day, and then, one day when I have been very good indeed, I wil order a full size of this for myself.
