2967 Tasting Notes
A while ago Fuzzy_Peachkin sent this off to me, and I have had it on my counter, in my sample bowl, being vaugly intimidated by it.
What was Yabao, exactly? I am ashamed to say that I am still not sure, but I decided that today was the day to be brave, and I brewed it up.
Its intrguing, that much I’ll say. And good! Light, floral, with a touch of cream and a wonderous spring-like quality. (So a perfect tea for October, eh?)
Its still a bit mysterious to me, and this is all I have, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
After sipping down two beloved teas this morning, I have remembered my ol commitment to drinking at least one cup of meh tea every day. Thats fallen a bit to the wayside, as I’ve been busy. When I’m busy I seem to indulge in my nice tea, and ignore the meh.
But we’re back now.
I have a lot of this. More than I thought I did. I would have sworn I was farther along with this.
Oh well, time to get sipping. I want it gone before black friday!
Another bittersweet sipdown from this morning.
I will have you again, Marco Polo. You are too magnificent not to get again. Someday, when I am very, very good indeed.
Until we meet again.
Good lord its windy. I feel as if I may be whisked off to Oz at any given moment, which would be a good adventure, but is very hard on ones hairdo.
I have a little midmorning break, and so I have cut myself a slice of cinnamon coffee cake, and have brewed up this.
I’ve said before that this is a wooly sweater tea, and it really is. A sophisticated blend of caramel and vanilla, and just perfection on this blustery day. I’ve been saving it for just such weather. Next rainstorm will be good for this too!
Its funny how we associate teas with weather, isnt it?
Thursday mornings are hard, and I have to get up extra early, stumbling around, gasping for tea and crying at the injustice of a world that would make me get up that early.
So my mental facilities are used up in all this A.M. angst, so I often go for bagged teas. Its good to have one or two on hand, when needed.
This is my go to. Its sweet, and nicely balanced, and I dont need to focus too much on it, which is good.
