Pensive Lemur tea! Hurrah!
Its actually really good, especially for a bagged tea. Not too warm, due to the pleasant note of vanilla cutting through the cinnamon. Very nice.
Only a little of this left. I’ll have to try it against Glitter and Gold and see how that all shapes up!
I found the tiniest tin of this at my local Marshalls, and justified myself into buying it.
Hmm. Pear. I never know quite what I feel about normal pears, but this isnt half bad. Its not quite as caramelly as I was hoping, but you get a nice earthy note, and the pear tastes properly like a pear, not like something from a bottle.
Its amazing how fast someones tastes can change.
Earlier this year, when I was just starting to get into loose leaf, I got this. I had heard that is was pretty good and I was feeling adventurous.
And I liked it! It struck me as being a very good rose tea. But now that I’ve tried more tea, my affection for it has waned a little.
Its still a decent rose black, but I have discovered better ones. I’ll still drink this up without problems.
I need chocolate. Bring on the tea!
I dropped a tea cup that a friend gave me, and its shattered beyond repair. Bummer.
All the more reason to drink tea. Fortunatly I have some back up cups, but I’ll still miss that one.
A while ago Fuzzy_Peachkin sent this off to me, and I have had it on my counter, in my sample bowl, being vaugly intimidated by it.
What was Yabao, exactly? I am ashamed to say that I am still not sure, but I decided that today was the day to be brave, and I brewed it up.
Its intrguing, that much I’ll say. And good! Light, floral, with a touch of cream and a wonderous spring-like quality. (So a perfect tea for October, eh?)
Its still a bit mysterious to me, and this is all I have, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
