drank Dulce & Banana by DAVIDsTEA

Camomile is the predominant flavour with lavender definitely present in the background. The banana taste is strong on the after taste. Coconut flavour fills in what I think would other wise be a thin taste as the sip blooms. I can detect a slight creaminess throughout. A mild sweetness is present throughout. Quite a smooth drink.

The lingering aftertaste is absolutely delightful. It has a soft sweetness with remnants of camomile and banana.

The second infusion retains some creaminess and a little bit of the camomile taste. I do not, however, feel that there is enough flavour for me to enjoy it.

drank English Breakfast by Timothy's

Incredibly sharp astringency which fills the mouth.
I added cream which cut down on the astringency but it is is still unpleasantly present. I really don’t like adding cream to anything that I consume as it adds many calories. The only pleasing flavour that comes through is that of the cream.
I am reminded of the smell of a dairy barn on the finish. This is something that I have found to have associated with English Breakfast teas that I have had in the past. I was not able to finish the cup as all the added cream was making my stomach churn and there was no value in the actual flavour of the tea which was quite hidden behind the strong bitterness.

Very thin flavor. The most I can detect from this blend is the essences of spearmint. Slight bitterness in the background

The flavour of this tea is quite thin with the black tea flavour overpowering the blueberry. There is also an unpleasant flavour reminiscent of a metallic flavour on the aftertaste. There is stevia included in this blend which I have found to have a sensitivity to and may very well be the reason that it is unappealing to me.

Aww, too bad you didn’t like this one. I thought it was good when I tried it, but I don’t have an aversion to stevia yet.

I definitely seem to be the odd one out with this tea. Maybe I’ll have to try it again!

Juicy round flavour with a thinning on the finish. Reminiscent of earthy taste which, I am sure, is sourced from the rooibos. The after-taste on this one is a little too sweet- I get that unpleasant lingering sugary feel which I am guessing is sourced from the candies and the sprinkles. This tisane is definitely reminiscent of Jolly Jellybean by David’s Tea. There is a creaminess on the finish. From drinking this tea I am reminded of white chocolate cookies.

drank Salted Caramel by DAVIDsTEA

Light sweetness throughout. Slight saltiness present closer to the end of the sip. For some reason, drinking this tea makes me think of pudding (butterscotch or chocolate). The flavour blooms into a more solid caramel taste nearing the end of the sip. This tea sometimes feels thin in the middle, which may be due to the saltiness. I am able to detect the black tea to a slight degree in this blend. There is a definite saltiness in the lingering aftertaste. I feel that I may be a bit sensitive to having actual salt in my tea. I was very glad to try something so different from my usual choices.

drank Sweet Strawberry by DAVIDsTEA

The strawberry flavour of this tea fades away in the background. Overall, the taste is very thin. I am not able to detect a full white tea taste. There seemed to be a kind of saltiness upon each sip throughout until the finish where the strawberry tastes blooms slightly.
I know that I am sensitive to the taste of stevia, so this may be what is making my tea experience less than desirable in this case.

Juicy feel. The passion fruit flavour balances out with the green tea flavour near the end of the sip. The passion fruit taste really blooms into a delightful metallic-like, tangy sensation towards the end of the sip. Soft sweetness is detected in the after-taste.

drank Strawberry Shortcake by DAVIDsTEA

Tea is juicy with a definite creaminess. I really like that I can taste the actual tea in this one which compliments the strawberry quite nicely. The aftertaste is very strawberry shortcake-like. I have detected some astringency on subsequent first infusions, I am going to try using less dry leaf next time (1 David’s tea scoop for ~400 ml of water).

On the second infusion the strawberry flavour is slightly muted but the creaminess is still present. The flavour of the black tea is able to come out more on this one.

Third infusion was noticeably weaker in flavour. This tea would not likely do well after the third infusion.

I was served this as the tea of the day on ice. It was very delicious- the creaminess is still there and it is quite juicy and sweet.

I cold-brewed this tea using 1 heaping David’s Tea scoop for ~400ml of water for ~10 hours. The flavour blooms into a taste which reminds me of a chocolate covered strawberry; the robust taste of the black tea balancing nicely with the strawberry flavour. A little bit of the tartness of the strawberry is present on the finish but not to the point where it is unpleasant

Very mild tasting. Flavour reminds me of apples and cinnamon. The cinnamon taste itself is very mellow but definitely stands out as the primary flavour. None of the floral tastes really stand out with the rosehips coming through the most. The oat straw gives a smooth taste which is unique but not unpleasant.
