This tea incorporates too many flavours. I could not taste the oolong at all. The flowery notes are overpowering did not let the fruity taste come through as much as I would have liked. I like the idea of combining cinammon with fruit but I was not able to really detect any cinnamon coming through.

I really enjoyed this tea. In tasting it there are notes of floral, toasted, seaweed and a hint of smoky taste. All the flavours combine together nicely. I used 1.5 David’s Tea Perfect Spoonfuls for my ~472ml thermos. This tea is quite re-infusable and different notes in flavour are brought out with each infusion (such as the toasted flavour); although the overall taste gets progressively thinner. On the 3rd infusion I could really taste a buttery note coming out as the tea cooled.
The tea leaves expand a lot during infusion so it is important to make sure that there is enough room for them to release all of their flavour.
This tea pairs nicely with sushi.

I generally prefer greens which are not flavoured, but this tea is a nice combination. There is a definitely detectable “toasted” flavour which mixes nicely with the green tea taste. I didn’t really detect any pineapple, coconut or any of the other nut flavours specifically. There is a sweet flavour reminiscent of cake frosting which I am guessing to be a mixture the pineapple and coconut. This is nice because they are clearly blended well together to create the resulting product. Also, I tend to prefer teas that don’t have too many loud flavours combined in one brew.

This tisane has a fairly simple but delicious combination of flavours. I love how it smells both in the package and during/after the infusion. The almond flavour comes through and gives the tea a full, buttery-type flavour. The cinnamon is a very nice addition and compliments the apple quite nicely.

The only unfortunate thing is that I seem to have to put a lot more of the mix than is recommended to achieve an adequate brew. Otherwise it has a bit of an undesirable weak taste.

This tea pairs very nicely with cheesecake.

I am not very keen on the overall scent of this tisane once it has been infused- it reminds me of the scent of an empty coffee filter. I do like the smell of the cloves peeking out ever so slightly, but it would be nice if they were more prevalent. There seems to be a lot of ingredients in this one. I have never enjoyed white chocolate and the one used in this combination contains an artificial colour which, to me, is not necessary. It is possible that this would affect the flavour along with some of the other white chocolate ingredients: partially hydrogenated palm kernel oil, soy lecithin and monoglycerides. The resulting flavour is that of a diluted coffee.
This tisane is nice with the addition of 2% cow’s milk. I like that it takes on a creamy texture and looses the dilute flavour. The clove taste seems to be brought out a bit more and mixes nicely with the milk flavour.

The carrot flavour is not as pronounced as I was led to believe by the name of this tea. I can mostly taste the flavour of coconut mixed with the oolong- which is an interesting experience on its own. I’m not sure what the “artificial flavour” added to this tea was for, but there seems to be an unpleasant taste (which can be described as “artificial”) in every sip.
When cold-brewed this tea has an unpleasant, sour quality to it.

I used 2 and 1/2 scoops of dry leaf for my 473 ml thermos.

This tisane is satisfying as a mint tisane. I was initially drawn by the prospect of having fruit flavours mixed with the mint. I was also intrigued by the addition of the juniper berries. The mint flavour isn’t too pronounced and allows the apple and juniper berry flavours to come through. Sweet on the finish with a satisfying refreshing mint feel. The flavour reminds me of the taste of eating fruit after brushing my teeth.

For my second infusion, I used about 1/3 less water than from the first one and allowed it to infuse for 10 minutes. The mint flavour was less prevalent and the apple and juniper were allowed to come through a little bit more.

This is not a tisane to leave in while drinking. The apple gives a tart flavour which mixes very poorly with the mint.

Cold-brewed this tisane has a nice mint flavour which does not compliment the sour-tartness of the apple.
