Ahaha, yes. The True Blueberry works wonders on Adagio’s cranberry. I take one bag of true blueberry, one teaspoon of cranberry, and leave the bag of true blueberry in. It covers the tea flavor more than most people on here would probably like, but its a tasty blend. Just like that I’m out of cranberry.

Caffeine is an engineering students best friend. Also sleeps mortal enemy.

I’m thankful for Adagio’s sample sizes, because while this isn’t a tea I like enough to buy a full bag of, its always tasty when I drink it. I wouldn’t really describe it as particularly savory, buts its not really quite sweet either. Also has a nice little caffeine punch to it. Its 2 a.m and I’m wide awake. Feel like I could run a freaking marathon. Solve ALL the calculus problems! Literally all of them. Invent time travel and punch Hitler in the face.

(Seriously, how do people drink green’s before bed? Am I missing something here?)

Finished off the last of this tonight. It was the end of a long day, the beginning of a hard week and I was feeling indulgent. I stirred in a bit of nutella and it made this creamy, murky, delicious concoction. I drank it all, and I don’t regret it. I’m probably going to have to make myself a nice green or black in a couple minutes if I’m going to get through all the work I have to do tonight, because right now I’m drifting in and out of consciousness.

Another tea finished. This was one of the first I ordered online ever, and I’m a bit sad to see it gone. Still, I got some other tasty teas to finish, so I think I should be good for now.

drank Berryblossom White by Tazo

This tea makes me sad. Maybe its the weird aftertaste all Tazo teas seems to have. Maybe its the fact that they apparently changed it. The description states that my box of ‘Berryblossom White’ has huckleberries instead of blueberries. Maybe its the fact that Tazo dares taint my white tea with bitter black tea. I digress.

Nevertheless, I have been searching for a cheap box of bagged whites that I can use to keep from going broke. I suppose this will have to do for now. Its drinkable, and when you’re a poor college student, sometimes that’s all that matters.

drank Pumpkin Spice by Adagio Teas

For a long time I just couldn’t get past the smell of this tea. It smells sickeningly sweet, in a syrupy kind of way that just makes me gag. That was disappointing, because I absolutely love pumpkin and expected this to be my favorite out of the holiday sampler. Today I decided to be a big girl and give it a try.

It brews a beautiful orangey color, and the horrible syrupy smell is drastically toned down once the brew has cooled a bit. But its still there and I can’t help but wrinkle my nose.

It tastes bitter, but its nothing a bit of sugar can’t fix. Thankfully it doesn’t really taste like it smells. I get a faint aftertaste of pumpkin, but it mostly tastes of cloves and cinnamon. Overall I don’t really see this as something I’ll drink all the time, or even pay money for, but I’ll finish the little tin. Maybe. More often than not I’ll open it and be so put off by that awful smell I end up making something else. There has to be a better pumpkin tea out there.

Forgot to review this one. I got it in the mail a couple weeks ago and suddenly I’m staring at the bottom of an empty bag of sadness. I don’t think I’ve ever gone through a tea quite as fast as I’ve gone through this one.

It has this sort of subtle sweetness that I just love. It smells incredible, and tastes just as good. The oolong is there, and the banana sort of lingers behind for a nice, delicious finish. Its sweet and light and definitely a favorite. I’ve had it hot and iced, steeped it over and over again and each cup never fails to satisfy.

Goodbye, banana oolong. We shall meet again when my finances allow. Until then, I shall miss you. </3

I’m sort of neutral on this tea right now. On one hand, I don’t feel the need to drown it in milk and sugar, so I guess that means I’m growing more accustomed to blacks, but on the other hand I’d still rather have a nice cup of white peach in the morning.

Overall this isn’t bad. After reading some of the reviews for the holiday teas my mom got me for Christmas, I was really reluctant to try them. Especially this particular tea. Not quite sure what I was expecting from this, but it was a decent cup. Not amazing, not awful. Pleasant, even. I’ll have to give it a try mixed with some True Blueberry.

drank Apple Cider by Bigelow

Its not a bad tea (or should I say, tissane?). That’s about all I can say about it. The apple and cinnamon flavors defiantly are there, I was just hoping they’d be better, or sweeter at least. This is very tart, almost too hibiscusy. Maybe it’d be better with some brown sugar.

I love apple cider, and I guess after falling in love with homebrew this was destined to be a letdown. Its not bad for the money, but its no replacement for true apple cider.
