Light, delicate cup. Very fresh and “green”. I enjoyed the first steep better than the second. The dry leaves smelled amazing. Felt and tasted like a quality tea.

I recently had to go caffine free for roughly just over a month. It was very difficult but I made it through in part due to this wonderful blend that my Spa & Salon happens to serve and sell. It is very expensive but so worth it. It is very calming and soothing. I plan on keeping this apart of my permanent tea collection. Yum!

1 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

How did you cope? ;)

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

It was very hard. I had bad headaches for a few days. When my doctor said I could have caffine again I nearly cried.

Not my favorite. Just an average black tea with very few bells and whistles. Still it hits the spot when you need a black tea hit.

First, I just want to say that I had been dying to try this tea for some time. White tea fans have said it was a wonderful, complex, subtle, white tea capable of multiple infusions each with varying experience for the drinker.

I am fortunate to have so many amazing tea friends such as Nicole from TeaForMePlease that was kind enough to send me a sample of this tea.

Warning: I had this tea knowing I have never been a huge fan of white tea but because it was so unique and there were so many rave reviews I just had to try it. I have written an entire blog post if you’d like to see how the story goes.

I do that too, wanting to try a tea even though I’m not a fan of the type :)

as do i, because you never know if it could be the exception, or maybe your tastes have changed….. i did that with a harney and sons blend that tasted like curried chicken, lol.

I feel exactly the same. I so wanted to enjoy this.

So often I have found many unblended teas of a single variety to not have a unique, differentiating quality between other vendors. I am sure much of the time this is the case because it is likely the tea was procured from the same distributor. However, I am pleased to say this was nice brew. I found it had subtle character and did separate itself from the pack in a pleasant way. A wonderful surprise.

An absolute treat. This is an herbal tea unlike what your grandmother might drink. It is perfectly balanced with a slight natural sweetness. The bamboo leaf adds just the right amount of earthiness without being overwhelming. It has a perfectly executed flavor profile.

Wow, what a deliciously fragrant cup. As soon as I poured the hot water over the leaves the aroma rushed out and filled the room. The strongest notes of chocolate where present. I love it. It has a mineral flavor and a toasty feel.

This is one of those tea you have to try to really understand its complexity and rich character profile.

Enjoying this delight as my last cup this evening. Decided to end with one of my favorite classic comfort teas. It is sweet, creamy, and wraps around you like a warm blanket. A fitting end before a start my one week “tea-fast” tomorrow.

To read more about it and follow my daily updates check out my blog… www.iHeartTeasTheBlog.com
P.S. Be prepared for some rather emotionally charged blog posts starting tomorrow while I go through tea withdrawal.

Love this blend. It is brisk as promised and leaves this sweet after taste in your mouth. I would recommend it to those that are fans of bold black teas.

Was this your last cup?

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

No, I haven’t had my last cup yet. That will be happening tonight. I think I’ll be having my classic go to comfort tea… Sweet Velvet Fog. Tomorrow morning starts the fast.
