This is a very rich oolong. It smells roasted when dry and maintains that scent once steeped, but with an added earthiness that reminded me of a pu erh, which created a bit of unfounded anxiety as my pu erh experiences have been less than stellar. For an oolong, it’s a dark tea and has a dark liquor. 195/3.5 min. There’s no bitterness at all and I can most definitely taste a woodsy, chestnut like taste. It’s a very savory tea.
