A very strong black tea. If you’re a coffee drinker trying to get into tea, this is a good place to start. A bit tannic, but robust. My dear friend from college who has been living in England brought me a box of this as a gift. It is my lifeline for staying alert in my night shift work.

White teas are my favorite because of their light, subtle, often beautiful tastes. This tea does not disappoint. It is an excellent blend of the flavor of the tea and the flavor of the fruit. A sip begins with the smooth, refreshing taste of the white tea and then finishes with a lovely blend of the mango and peach flavors. I think I taste more of the peach than the mango, but I’m okay with that!

My first fore into the world of yerba mate, and boy is it great! Earthy, naturally sweet, spicy, and strong! this tea has a rich creaminess from the cocoa even if you don’t add milk. The flavor and aroma linger on your lips and tongue in a fantastic way. It’s kind of like drinking a really delicious chocolate bar! Plus it is organic AND fair trade!

Not bad. Although pretty tart (hello, it has pomegranate in it), I can drink it without sweetener. I get the fruit notes all the way, but I definitely don’t get any green tea flavor, especially considering this has matcha in it. Not my favorite, but not the worst.

Oh spicy teas how I love you! A cuppa this tea was a great way to enjoy a crisp Fall night! The blend of spices takes me to a warm place in front of a fire on a cold night. Or maybe in front of an awesome bonfire hanging out with friends. I love the notes of clove!

A floral, earthy bouquet of goodness! I picked this tea up when my sister-in-law and I were doing a stay-at-home tea room day on a budget. She had mentioned a great rose tea that she has had at a hookah bar she likes, so when I saw this at Kroger I jumped. I have always been a fan of Tazo, so this was a really pleasant find! I was honestly surprised that a tea with rose petals as a main ingredient would be so good. I was afraid it would taste like soap, but with the other ingredients it was great. I was also excited for the potential mental/emotional/physical benefits given the presence of the valerian root which is often used for aiding sleep and easing anxiety (something I can also use).

Lemongrass, mint, chamomile, ginger, and – who knew! – catnip! Agreat relaxing blend. I love this at work, but I also love drinking it when I have a cold. It’s comforting. Maybe I will start offering it to my clients!

I love this tea! It is demure in all the right ways. Light, refreshing, subtly sweet without any sweetener. It has citrusy sweetness and tartness without the tartness being overwhelming.

This tea smooths out the stronger edginess of straight peppermint tea with the lighter coolness of spearmint. I like to steep this for longer than recommended because the aroma just gets better! A great everyday addition at the end of a good meal as mint is good for your stomach and digestion. Plus it fights the whole bad breath thing. Always a plus in my book!

I am very intrigued by the ingredient of African honeybush as I have run across it in a few teas that I have recently tried. It seems to add a pleasantly light sweetness. I love that the orange and mandarin notes sing in this tea with the same sweet/tartness that you get when eating the fruits themselves. I bought this tea to share with my sister-in-law the day we had planned to go to a hooka bar that she says has excellent teas. Unfortunately the hooka bar was closed, so we had to make our own fun. I bought this tea because the name sounded like something that you might find in a nice tea room. I would describe this tea as demure in all the right ways!

A tea drinker from the south. I think I probably was given sweet black tea in my bottle as an infant. I don’t get to drink the finer teas that I really love as much as I would like, but I have managed to find less expensive brands that are quite good. Tea has become an accompanyment to most everything I do: reading, knitting, working, movie watching. I love all kinds of teas, but white teas are probably my favorite. I also especially love mint teas and teas with spices. Have a blessed day and happy brewing!
