I have yet to try this one hot, but cold and iced it’s wonderful. I usually drop a bag or two (they’re big!) into boiled water and let it sit for a few hours. Then I add some cold water to the concentrated tea and serve it over ice. The smell and taste is just like Cheerios cereal to me. I usually take it unsweetened, but it’s nice either way. Perfect summer drink!

Firstly, I should probably mention I lean more towards Japanese green tea rather than Chinese. So, perhaps I am not the right drinker for this. I have enjoyed the yellower, more bitter Chinese varieties before, but I found this one too much so. I did finish my box, but I did so with much coaxing.

I’ve this this one straight before, but this morning I decided to try it with some almond milk and sugar. Really enjoyed it and was sad when my cup was finished.

Reading reviews about this tea convinced me to order a box. Chocolate without the calories? Sign me up! Of course I didn’t expect the full experience of chocolate, but a little flavor would be a nice effect. Upon receiving my box I noted the strong scent. It did smell chocolatey; almost like a tootsie roll… but the taste! It was exactly like the chemically-sweetened taste you find in diet chocolate bars. I tried to finish the cup, but was unable. Even with the addition of (almond) milk and sugar it was unpleasant. I’m currently trying to force the box on a friend.
