When I went to David’s Tea last Saturday I decided to get pretty much every tea that had lemon in it. I loooove lemon and was looking for the best lemon tea ever (which I think I have found in Coco-Lemon Thai even though it’s not just lemon it’s also coconut and creaminess and decadence and ok I won’t get started on this one again, god I love it!) Naturally I could not ignore something called “La la lemon”.

I’m happy I got to try it but I care for it much. Even though I had this one hot, the taste was exactly the same as unsweetened Lipton’s Brisk iced tea, which I’m not a fan of. I put some sugar in it (something I very rarely do with tea), and then it tasted exactly like the sweetened version of Lipton’s Brisk iced tea.

All in all, not something I would re-purchase, but I think I’ll be able to enjoy a cup once in a while and finish my 25g bag. I still have a lot of other lemon teas to try ! :)

I’m quite new to tea. Like many people, the tea brand that got me started into loose leaf tea was Davids Tea. It was about 2 or 3 months ago. My first try was Pumpkin Chai and I was blown away.

I started mostly because I was looking for something that would satisfy my sugar cravings without all the calories, and also for the health benefits. I soon realized the world of tea was way larger than what I originally thought, and I’m glad I’m now a part of it !

I’m way intense when I get into something, so I bought too many kinds of loose tea leaf, trying to figure out which ones I would like best… So far, I mostly enjoy flavoured black, green or oolong teas. Anything floral, fruity, minty or sweet is great. I like dessert teas and also enjoy chai teas. The only thing I can’t stand is rooibos. I’ve tried several blends and I had to either give them away or put them in the trash.

Other stuff I’m into include traveling, language learning, TV series, yoga, Harry Potter, reading, writing, eating too much and hiking.
