After my 30 minute walk this morning I needed a strong tea. I used a dbl dose of this tea in a 16 ounce starbucks coffee tumbler. I wish the tea wasn’t so small (CTC) but it still brews up a robust, brisk, malty, and strong cup of tea. I miss my Mountain Malt in the the morning and I just may have to break down and buy more. I was hoping they would put it on sale but alas no go. This is still a great morning tea.

This tea is smells like flowers and honey but the taste is more vegetal and buttery. The tea has a slightly sweet taste and is golden in color. The taste is also slightly nutty. A very nice evening tea.

This is such a wonderful tea. Its robust and mellow at the same time. This tea gives me caramel notes with a peppery finish every time. It also has that raisiny sugar smell and it looks as beautiful as it tastes.

This tea has beautiful black and gold leaves and a rich malty peppery taste. This is a robust tea with a raisiny smell and caramel notes. Its mellow and smooth, no bitterness or astringency that usually accompanies assam and ceylon teas. Yunnan is one of my favorite teas.

This is an excellent blend of assam teas. The tea steeps up a dark amber color and is brisk, robust, malty, and chewy. This is a great wake up tea and is a good substitute for coffee. Its got me awake this morning.

I’m having this tea iced. I use 6 tea measures in a large tea ball and place it in 32 oz of water overnight. Then I take out the tea ball and add 32 oz of water and place in the refrigerator. The tea is clear and delicious. I add splenda but to each his own.

This tea does have an earthy scent to it. I swear I can taste yunnan in there somewhere. Its a blend of many teas and makes a nice mild tasty cup.

I needed a good tea for wake up this morning. The tea bag is huge and I steeped about 16 oz of tea. The tea is robust, brisk, and malty. I get more of the ceylon taste than the assam from it but its still very good.

This tea is a real eye opener in the morning. The assam and ceylon teas make for a very brisk, robust, and chewy cup of tea. This is one of my favorites in the morning which is why I bought a 1/2 pound of it on my last order. It also makes a fantastic iced tea.
