drank English Breakfast by Butiki Teas

I ordered this along with my most recent order … mostly because I was curious, because I seem to focus primarily on the flavored and more unusual teas from Butiki, but, overlook something that seems a little more commonplace even though I acknowledge that certainly not all breakfast blends are created equal and as Stacy at Butiki is brilliant at what she does, I should have known that her breakfast blend would not be something so ordinary.

I LOVE this. It is certainly one of the more robust, thick, hefty English Breakfast blends I’ve come across. I taste the rich malty tones of Assam, the evenness of the Ceylon, the delicious, toasty flavor of the Java tea and the lightness from the Darjeeling helps to keep this tea from being too thick or heavy. It’s got just enough tooth to it to be a really good, solid breakfast blend – better than most out there, to be sure! – but, light enough so that I don’t feel weighed down after I’ve had a cup.

I’ve enjoyed this so much I’m actually on my second cup today.

I need to pull this out of my stash. I picked it up in my last order too!

I’ve never placed an order with Butiki. Must change that… soon. This tea sounds wonderful.

Ooo! this sounds delish! I love a robust breakfast tea.
I need to place another order with Butiki, hopefully after the holidays I will get a chance.

I am obsessed with tea!

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
