Very nice. The spices are strong but not really spicy. Just very warm and cozy. The Yerba Maté is balanced well with the spices, and I can taste the earthy, vegetative quality of the Maté. I’m not always a big fan of that earthy quality, but, with the earthiness of the spices, the two seem to work together very well. I like the strength of the anise here, it gives a really nice licorice-y taste that lingers in the aftertaste. I do love licorice!

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.
I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
