Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea.
A really pleasing Vietnamese tea. This is smooth and rich, with a finish that reminds me of coffee. You know that deep roasted taste that you get toward the finish when you take a sip of coffee … yeah, that. I taste that warm, roasted flavor at the finish with this tea.
Sweet and earthy transcends into a coffee-like finish. It’s a very satisfying cuppa.

A really lovely Oolong. VERY nice!
Floral tones: flowery in taste and aroma … I tasted honeyed orchid. The honey-sweet tones are also evocative of honeysuckle. It’s a very mild tea … it has a very soft, gentle taste from start to finish. A very enjoyable, complex tea.

Not a bad tisane … I like the strong chocolate flavor. Forsman Tea seems to have followed my rule: more chocolate = better … because this is really nice and chocolate-y.
The rooibos is distinguishable here but I’m not minding that so much because the nutty flavor of the rooibos melds nicely with the bittersweet chocolate-y tones. I don’t usually taste a “caramel-y” note with rooibos, but I was surprised to discover a hint of caramel-like flavor to this. A nice complement to the chocolate.
Overall, a really nice rooibos selection from my Amoda Box.

That’s why I love Teavivre. Their products are always … just so good!
The aroma of this tea is lovely, as is the flavor. sweet, fresh, with notes of freshly steamed veggies … and here’s the interesting twist to that … instead of having freshly steamed veggies that may have been lightly buttered … these taste like they’ve been accentuated with fruit. Like the veggies were steamed with sweet oranges and melons or something. Weird …but delicious!
Another exceptional tea from Teavivre.

A really nice apple flavor to this tea. I like that I can taste the apple here. With some apple teas, the flavor gets a little lost, that doesn’t happen here. The black tea is a strong tea but not overly aggressive. A nice “freshly baked” tone to the tea, with notes of cocoa and a hint of smokiness that is more apparent to me as the tea cools than when it is piping hot.
I liked the true-to-the-fruit taste of this apple tea. A really good one … then again, I’m seldom disappointed by the Kusmi teas that I’ve had the good fortune to try.

I received a bottle of this tea concentrate, and I really enjoyed this product. It has a good, strong tea flavor with a nice touch of plum. Brisk, sweet, and malty. There are also some notes of citrus to this. A really good product!

A very nice pu-erh. I usually find pu-erh to be very earthy, but this has a mild earthy note and I like that. No overwhelming earthy, brine-y, or fish-y tastes to this tea and I like that.
The flavor gets deeper with the second and third infusions, although it still maintains the mellow earthiness. It is sweet and almost hay-like, reminiscent of a Shou Mei rather than a dark Pu-erh.

This one is YUMMY iced. I think I prefer it iced versus hot (although it’s good hot too, however, I didn’t really like it when it was fresh from the teapot, piping hot. The flavors need a few minutes cool time to develop.)
Once the flavors do develop, though, this is a very juicy, fruity, sweet tea. The white tea brings a nice earthiness to the cup. I like the different fruits in here. I taste the peach, nectarine and apricot strongest, and the cherry gives a nice tartness to the tea. The plum comes through too.

My last backlog for this evening. (OK, ok, so it’s 3:41 in the morning. I’m a night owl.)
An interesting blend. I wasn’t too happy to find that there was hibiscus in this but it does OK in this blend … it’s not overdone, it’s just enough to enhance the berry tones but not so much that it comes off as syrupy or too tart.
The litchi and the raspberry are surprising buddies in this tea … I wouldn’t have thought to pair the two fruits together, but they work well together. The litchi doesn’t taste off (as sometimes it can) I think that the raspberry gives it balance.

This one is best served iced. I didn’t really care too much for it when it was served hot, but the chill really improves the flavor.
A tasty apricot and blueberry tea. These are two flavors that I wouldn’t normally think to bring together, but they work together nicely.
