Homemade Advent Day 12
from AJRimmer
I prepared this cold since that is what was recommended. This one comes across as an herbal tea since the black tea base is very subtle. It’s fruity and sweet but I’m specifically able to pick out raspberry, orange, and lime. I tried a sip of it hot before chilling it and agree that the cold preparation was a better option. The iced tea method brought out the fruity flavors even more.

My post is a little late but I finished off the rest of this one as a cold brew. It was an incredibly delicious cold brew and I wish I had more of this to drink that way. This is one of the oldest teas in my cupboard. It’s very sweet, fruity, herbaceous, and slightly floral. I think it fits the name in terms of being a relaxing spa tea. I drank this the other night while watching the new Disney+ Home Alone remake. There were a lot of fun modern references but it wasn’t very good at all… The originals are one of my favorite holiday movies.
Flavors: Floral, Fruity, Herbaceous, Licorice, Sweet

Mini note for exam tea #2
The cucumber, mint, and nettle combination is nice when you are in the mood for it. The stevia is very strong though so it’s not for everyone. The base tea isn’t super noticeable but isn’t bitter or astringent whatsoever.
Flavors: Cucumber, Peppermint, Stevia, Sweet
Preparation
Had a sachet of this that was given to me by a friend and I’ve had this one before so I decided to use it up and drink it while I finished my final exam. This one I did add some cream to since I don’t love the bergamot that they use. With a little cream and honey added it was better though. Maybe this one would be better steeped at a lower temperature. It’s nice and smooth though!
Preparation
Drank a mug of this using a sachet I got from an order a while ago. I’ve had this sample before and always really enjoy it. This time was no exception as it’s just a lovely smooth English breakfast. Enjoyable without milk which is nice since I’m out right now and only have a bit of cream. I always want to order a tin of this one but I only ever see sachets available.
On a side note, I went to World Market to do some holiday shopping and picked up some Tim Tams to try that I’ve heard so much about on here. I couldn’t find the orange ones but the plain chocolate ones I picked up are really good! I also may have found some new teaware…
