i noticed this pouch did not have much of that asparagus smell nor taste but it is still really good.
when i smell the leaves dry, it smells like fresh cut grass like i believe all sencha should :D
when i smell the leaves wet, it has a major sent of freshly cut grass and a minor scent of asparagus and for some strange reason nuts. (could be because i have a bag of camellia on the table) :)
when i smell the brewed tea, it smells nice and grassy :D
when i taste the brewed tea, its the same as the smell of the liquid :D
what a lovely tea! :D
used 4 tsp for multiple 250ml cups throughout the evening

it is yummy. however, last time i had it it was even better with the strong asparagus taste
