I’ll sum this up in two sentences.

Tastes almost nothing like hojicha.

I did it!! I used two heaping scoops of the 100g tin and 100-110 ml of water. Look how frothy! Creamy and foamy as heck! the smaller chasen I ordered on eBay works wonders.
this tea has a fresh clean grassy, somewhat sweet and seaweedy note
i rate a 95/100

Medium steep: I smell/taste:
(Smell) light wine.
(Taste) slight metallic (iron). Light, rock/stones. Medium —→ roasted, chocolate.

Heavy steep: I smell/taste:
(Smell) light wine.
(Taste)slight rocks/stones. light —→ wine, chocolate.

All in all a yummy tea. I rate 75/100 only cause when brewed strong you get strong rock and chocolate tastes. I paid 10-15 usd for 250g. Cheap teas does not always mean bad. If I remembered who sold this I would have suggested the seller

Preparation
Boiling 7 g 6 OZ / 176 ML

Sorry I’ve been silent lately: My mom passed away recently. I’ll be OK, I hope to get back into doing my reviews soon

Enjoying some chen Pi. Yummy gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Basically this herbal tea is dried and aged orange peel tea.

Nice citrusy orange taste. Leather, sweet, warm cha qi. They say this tea is good for cleansing the liver, stomach and lungs. Also helps with bodily qi. I’m not sure what it means by “when there is heat” to use caution. But I don’t drink this on a daily basis. But if you have a cold or lung infection, I hear this tea helps get rid of any phlegm. Has some good essential oils and vitaminC too.

Arby tbh, I’ve slowed down to one review every other week or so as I have other things I like to do. No worries, I still consume tea regularly almost every day. Lol maybe too much lol!
