drank Blue Lagoon by DAVIDsTEA

I have a confession. I received this back in April as a sample. I love blueberries. Blueberry anything. When I went to place another order with DavidsTea this tea was gone! I couldn’t believe it. I was nearly distraught! I had really wanted to try it as I feel the little sample was weak with how much water I added. I knew I would like it, I just wanted the flavor to be stronger than what I had tried.

A few weeks ago, I was browsing around on DavidsTea a few days after I placed an order with them. I had received an email that they had added new webspecials. This was one of them! I snatched it up so quick. It’s an 8.8 oz (250g) bag. I didn’t care. I had to have it. I haven’t had this much of a single tea since my very first tea purchase in a Teavana store where the lady clearly could tell that I didn’t know what I was doing yet and let my buy nearly a pound of a tea! And of course, I am a sucker for free shipping so I placed a second $50 DavidsTea order in one month!

Happy to have this one in my cupboard :)

Question for you guys. How safe is it to leave tea in the zip-top bags they come in from companies?

I find that the zip top bags from Davids re inflate with air if left undisturbed for long enough (a week?). I use Mason jars for my tea because they seal really well and don’t hold odors. They’re also easier to clean than the tins I have. My tea is all stored in a cabinet away from light, so the fact that mason jars are clear isn’t too much of a concern.

I’d recommend repackaging this tea into something air-tight so you don’t have to worry about it going stale. Half a pound of tea can take awhile to go through (or maybe I just don’t drink enough tea!!).

Good luck! _
