850 Tasting Notes
This is a nice, well-balanced chai…flavorful, but not too spicy. The vanilla adds a pleasant creaminess. I’ve tried it plain, sweetened, and with milk and liked it every time!
Flavors: Cardamom, Cinnamon, Ginger, Malt, Vanilla

I am forever on the lookout for the perfect peach tea and unfortunately, this isn’t it. It’s a pleasant fruit tisane (one of those Teavana teas that looks more like trail mix than tea with tons of chunks of dried fruit and only a stray leaf or two to be found) with a mild, soothing, slightly sweet flavor…but in spite of the name, I taste the pineapple and apple more strongly than the peach. For a stronger flavor, I brew it for as long as 15 minutes…you can steep this forever and it will never get bitter! I enjoy it occasionally as a bedtime tea and also like mixing it with the Strawberry Blush Rose Oolong.
Flavors: Apple, Fruity, Honey, Peach, Pineapple

Republic of Tea’s Ginger Peach is one of my all-time favorite teas, so I was eager to try this similar tea from Teasource. When I smelled it in the store, I was immediately impressed: it smelled just like a ripe peach! It has a delicious juicy peach flavor when brewed, with just the barest hint of ginger; definitely less spicy than the Ginger Peach. It’s also slightly astringent, particularly if you brew it longer than suggested. Overall, I think I still like Ginger Peach a bit more, but this is definitely a delicious and less expensive alternative.
Flavors: Astringent, Fruity, Ginger, Peach
Preparation
Of all the Teavana teas I’ve tried so far, I think this is my least favorite. It looks pretty in the bag with all of the fruit bits and the rosebuds but the scent is heavy and quite artificial. The taste matches the scent: the fig completely overwhelms the rose and any other flavors that are supposed to be in here. It’s like drinking artificially flavored fig juice. Not a fan!
Flavors: Artificial, Fig
Preparation
This is a beautiful tea! Nice unbroken black tea leaves with cornflower petals and dried blueberries. And the dry leaf smells AMAZING…after I opened it, I kept going around shoving it under family member’s noses and demanding, “Doesn’t it smell just like blueberries?” The first time I tried it, I think I must have over-steeped it because it came out quite bitter. However, I gave it another try, and this time the taste almost lived up to the scent. A nice smooth, juicy blueberry flavor with a bit of richness from the base. I’m eager to try it iced as well!
Flavors: Blueberry, Fruity, Wood

I got this as a free sample with my last Teasource purchase and I may have to go back and buy more, because it’s delicious! It smells so sweet and fruity and the taste does not disappoint. It has a smooth, juicy mango flavor with the black tea base adding just a bit of depth. I’ve tried it hot and cold and loved it both ways!
Flavors: Fruity, Mango
Preparation
When I first bought this tea, I loved it…it was the first grocery store tea I’d ever tried that actually had flavor! This tea has an EXTREMELY strong orange flavor (almost like drinking hot orange juice, but without the pulp). It’s tart when it hits your tongue, but there is an oddly sweet aftertaste due to the licorice root. Now that I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy some much better quality teas, I’m glad to finish this box off and won’t be re-purchasing.
Flavors: Licorice, Orange, Sour, Sweet, Tart
Preparation
Like most of the Teavana teas I’ve tried, this smells divine…like a nice, juicy orange studded with cloves and a cinnamon stick. The taste doesn’t quite live up to the scent, but I do enjoy it. The fruitiness and spiciness are nicely balanced and it has a silky smooth texture in the mouth that I really like. Just don’t over-steep it, or you’ll get a nasty bitter/sour brew!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Clove, Fruity, Orange, Orange Zest
Preparation
I was a bit turned off by the smell of this tea in the tin: it has a very sharp (almost sour) beramot scent. However, this mellows out a lot when you steep it. It’s still quite heavy on the bergamot and I wish the black base would pop a bit more…but it’s a very tasty earl grey!
Flavors: Bergamot
Preparation
This tea smells like Christmas! Such a rich, sweet peppermint scent…and it tastes ALMOST as good as it smells. I really don’t notice the rooibos flavor at all, just LOTS of peppermint balanced by a bit of sweetness and depth from the white chocolate. The only thing I don’t like about this tea is that it leaves an oily residue in my infuser and mug that necessitates a good scrub with Dawn after drinking. Otherwise, it’s great!
Flavors: Peppermint, White Chocolate
