Yay! My order from Numi arrived! Perfect timing to have an Easter tea with the ladies of my family on Sunday! I’ve been craving this particular tea since I first tasted it, but none of the stores near me sell it. I ordered it and now I am impatiently waiting for the delicate blush colored tea to finish cooling so that I can take a much awaited sip………mmmmmm perfect! Smooth and refreshing with a floral aftertaste. Almost like biting into a fresh rosebud.

after my thrid thermos of this tea, I think it’s safe to say that I like it, although not quite as much as some of the others I’ve tried. It brews up a lovely dark dark brownish blackish color and the bird nest is just too cute for words. (my youngest son has been carrying one around in a little bag for 2 days because he likes how it looks) There are some definite earthy tones to it, a shock for me since I didn’t know tea could taste like a freshly tilled garden smells. I did have to add a few sugar subes to my 16 oz. bottle, but that’s just because I like my drinks to be overly sweet, especially first thing in the morning. Well, my thrid thermos is empty so it’s time to go brew another tea. See ya!

mmmmm…..sweet…..fruity…..yummy……will definatly keep drinking this one. It freaked my son out a little when he first saw it because of the deep purplish-red color it brews up into.

lovely floral scent, lightly sweet and tart at the same time. Soothing with a plesant aftertaste. The only draw back for me it that it leaves my mouth a bit dry. Brews up a lovely amber color.

My husband Will just tried this one…here’s his take on it….
a little bitter but still pleasing to the pallet, has a semi-sweet aftertaste, leaves your mouth a bit dry, and has almost a soy taste to it as it settles in the cup….brews up a pale greenish-yellow. Pretty normal as far as green tea goes. Good.

I got this in a variety pack and I will most definatly be buying this one again. Lightly sweet with a beautiful rose smell, it’s not over powering so I could easily drink this tea all day long. I think it would be even better if I wasn’t so impatient and steeped it for just a tad longer and maybe just a tad less sugar added as well.

Okay, so I know this is a bottled cold tea, but it was so good I felt I needed to spread the word. It’s light, a little sweet, and very apple-y. Almost like biting into a fresh apple and taking a sip of tea at the same time. Absolutly loved it!

yuck! I’ve tried it twice and now I can honestly say that I don’t like it. REminds me of tension tamer with mint. Bitter and medicine-y.

There’s not a whole lot for me to say right now….I just recently fell into the wonderful world of tea, so it’s just about anyone’s guess as to where I go from here. I recently got a job working at Cozy Tea in 5 Points as brewmistress (funny nickname not actual title) I absolutly love my job and the place is great. It gets pretty busy on Fridays and Saturdays but it’s still awesome!
