Kinda smooth, kinda roasty. It’s got some umph and body to it. Slight bit of genmaicha hint to it which comes out a bit more with the second steep. Like the first steep more.

Lightly earthy but mellow. Touch of dry but so mellow you don’t notice it. It has a brightness to it that is unexpected. Call me crazy but there is a bit of fresh snapped green bean taste at the very beginning and end.

It’s sweet – I almost wanted to ask the wife if she put sugar in it. It’s not overly sweet – but much more than I expected. It has a hint of Darjeeling like dryness/sharpness at the end – but is smoother. A bit earth. I could drink a lot of this.

It’s not vile but it’s unsettling. I had a few sips and it made me sick to my stomach.

Looks like you and Auggy are in the same boat. Yikes! :(

Auggy

Which is a shame because it means I can’t pawn off the rest of it to him! (Not that I typically do that to him. Oh no. Never!)

It tastes more like a muscat-peach blend than mango – but the smell is just like fresh cut mango. Smooth and sweet, not a hint of bitter to it. Quite good, but more of a novelty than a daily drinker.

Smooth, a bit floral, almost to the point of breaking the smoothness. Long aftertaste with hints of the floral notes.

Wow on this tea. It tastes like…. I can’t place it. I almost want to say the water in the Le Sueur peas, that and rhubarb. So weird.
Dropped the rating more. The more I drink it, the more I think of urine. Pouring it out.

Very dry. Kind of a natural sweetness. Makes me think a lot of the blackberry black tea I used to get before the wife got into loose teas. This would probably be much better with a touch of sugar… Adding sugar seems to take away most of the dryness and brings out the berry flavor. Sugar bumps up the points a little.

Tastes more like citrus and lemongrass to me. It’s got a little bit of a sharp taste to it. It’s pretty good.

The tea has that Darjeeling dryness/sharpness at the end. Very smooth for a Darjeeling though. I can get notes of honey. Trying to come up with a word for the other taste at the beginning of the flavor – it’s not roasty but maybe toasted. Slightly creamy and warm.
