2 Tasting Notes
Bagged or loose, I do love this tea. I always have. I love this, and also English Breakfast tea, but Irish Breakfast tea is my favourite of those two.
I actually haven’t had loose Irish Breakfast tea in many years — it is usually more flavourful. But the bagged version is still delicious.
Just this morning I had it with milk for the first time, in well, EVER — except I have a vague notion that I likely had tea with milk in it while I lived in England, because that’s a very common thing over there. ;) I’ve also shopped at the original Twinings tea shop in London — that’s a delightful, heavenly smelling place!
I’m now thinking a nice strong cup of Irish breakfast with some milk and sugar is just thing, especially during the chilly winter months. _
I do have some loose English Breakfast tea on order from David’s Tea, so I’m looking forward to trying that with milk and sugar to compare.
Preparation
Yes, this tea is amazing. Limes are one of my favourite flavours in the world, and this tea tastes as wonderful as it smells! It would be wonderful iced, but I haven’t tried it that way yet. I’m sure I will come summer, though. ;)
The lime agave syrup sticks enhance the flavour of this tea VERY nicely, too.
Highly recommend! _
