This is one of my favorite 52Teas blends. I loved the original pouch that I had. When the 52Teas takeover happened and this one was reblended I was eager to restock this tea.

I am really enjoying the green tea base here. It is soft and gentle with such a lovely aftertaste. The key is to be careful not to over steep. The main flavor to me is pineapple. Then there is the marshmallow and maybe a touch of lime. While this tea is great on its own, I remember the original having a prominent lime flavor followed by marshmallow and pineapple then a hint of cherry. I would love more lime flavoring in this one. It has been awhile since I had the original, maybe my taste buds have changed?

So, I was on a business trip in Toronto and didn’t bring enough tea with me. I picked this up at Whole Foods. I have not seen this brand in the Whole Foods I usually shop at in Virginia. But, this is so good I’ve got to try more from Tealish.

This is creamy lemon. It’s more sweet than tart. I’ve only tried it cold brewed and it comes out perfect. I’m really impressed with how flavorful this is. I’m not used to grocery store teas being so fresh tasting.

Generally I have found that I love the idea of grapefruit teas, but not the execution. Most grapefruit teas are tart or bitter, which reminds me of white grapefruit. I’m a huge fan of sweet red grapefruit, not white. This is the first tea I’ve tried that reminds me of red grapefruit. The brown sugar flavor really makes this delicious. I taste grapefruit and brown sugar. And, the tea is so creamy. I wish I had more of this one.

Fantastic iced tea! I love the candied cherry flavor. It is light, refreshing, and tastes just like cherry ice cream without being bitter or astringent. The flavoring isn’t overwhelming. Some sips taste predominately of black tea, some have that sweet candy cherry in the taste and aftertaste. I chose to cold brew the iced tea bag for 12 hours overnight in the refrigerator and think that was the perfect choice.

This is a really yummy chai. The licorice flavors from the fennel and anise are really shining. The taste is savory and spicy, but not bitter or hot spicy. I don’t really notice much in the way of pepper. I like this plain without milk or sugar, but also look forward to trying it with milk and sugar.

This is a very unique flavor that kind of grows on me. When I first read the label, I read citrus. When I first opened the package, the smell was strong, and really it smells quite a bit like cola (think coca-cola) . When brewed, the cola aroma morphs into something more flowery/perfumy. The taste when brewed is definitely flowery (honeyed rose) with citrus elements (though it isn’t really a strongly citrus tea by any means) so it didn’t occur to me that I had misread the label. But, when I read through the description provided by Verdant, I noticed my mistake. So, I looked up cistus and found that it is a type of flower. Very interesting and I’m glad to have tried something so different. I’m definitely enjoying this tea.

This tea is quite pleasant. It is a smooth back tea with a nice berry flavor. The tea is slightly sweet without adding any sweetener. I don’t think I would have ordered it, but I received it as a sample in the catalog and now that I’ve tried it, I might pick it up if I saw it in the store.

I brewed the single tea bag in a cup of water at 195°F for 3 minutes.

This tea is such an interesting concept that I’ve really enjoyed trying. It’s good, but I’m not so sure it tastes like cola. I smell and taste spice. There is also a baked good quality to it. So, it’s almost like liquid moist spice bread. The bread like flavor is really prominent in the aftertaste.

This makes an excellent breakfast tea and I find it quite enticing. The aroma and taste make my mouth water. It has a delicious rich malty quality and a lovely taste of praline. There is a slight impression of sweetness and a slight pleasing astringency in the aftertaste. I actually steep it a bit longer than the recommended 1 minute and use cooler water and less leaf instead. I have found that the second steep isn’t nearly as good as the first. Maybe this is a result of my different steeping parameters; I’m not sure.
