Warm toasty cinnamon and baked almond! This really does remind me of the almond flavored biscotti that my sister just made and sent to us for the holidays. I need to devise a scheme to justify a purchase. How much tea do I have to drink or pass onto someone else before a purchase doesn’t seem ridiculous?

Oh, and btw, I hate this clunky keyboard! It took so long to type this with all the corrections I had to make. Damn you substandard keyboard!!!

My sis was near a David’s and I got her to pick up a sample size of this for me! I really wish you could buy sample sizes online. Oh well! It helps keep me from buying more tea. I really don’t need more tea. Like, really really.

This tea smells like apple instant oatmeal with a heavy dose of cinnamon. Side note; my mom wanted me to name my daughter cinnamon. She totally didn’t get that it’s a stripper name. Back to the tea… it tastes like cinnamon, apples and almonds. I suppose I could imagine it as baklava, but it mostly tastes like oatmeal. It has a sweetness of it’s own, so I’m able to enjoy it without adding sugar. The mix is pretty heavy on the dried fruit, so for your money I think you are getting more trail mix than tea, but it is tasty. I like it, but I’m not going to run out and stock up either.

Sipping down this small sample I pulled from a traveling box. I’m so glad to have tried this and really hope to cross paths with it again. It is such an odd sweet and savory mix! When unsweetened, the thyme really takes center stage with the peach hiding in the background. When I add a little sweetener, the peach comes out a bit more. I would love to make a peach pie with a little thyme and see if it turns out as yummy as this tea! The thyme lingers in the aftertaste. I’m finding this tea very warm and comforting. So long little tea! Hope we meet again!

Oh man! I didn’t pay attention to the recommended steeping temp and steeped this way too hot. It ended up wicked bitter, but adding cream and sugar made if palatable again. It’s not the same as the first time I had it, but there is a little malt shining through and it is helping me wake and recover from a rough night with a sick two year old.

Oh yeah, loving this tea. The first steep only kinda hit the spot, but the second is filling in just fine although I might need to change my water filter or kettle because there is a weird water taste behind the tea today.

The other day I ground up some freeze dried bananas, put them into pancake batter, added some liquid smoke and topped the pancakes with maple syrup. It was delicious, just like this tea.

I’m on my second steeping of this today. I keep switching between this and Butiki’s Smoked Maple Banana. I’m having this with cream and sugar and it is very caramel like. It smells just like a rich creamy caramel and tastes like a lighter version of the scent. It is quite delicious and now my cup is empty. Time for another cup of SMB!

This is a really unusual tea for me to love so much, being that I’m a flavored tea kinda gal, but I do love it! There have been times when I have craved it’s malty tobacco flavors. So glad I stocked up on this when I was last in California! Tonight it is helping me through the holidays which are almost over, hopefully it won’t keep me up tonight since I’m drinking it super late. I hate this time of year and will be glad when it has past!

This tea has been in my cupboard for a while. Still tastes pretty good! I taste chocolate and a doughy flavor. There is almost a maltiness in there, a hint of coconut. It has a little sweetness of it’s own so I haven’t added sugar, but I bet it would be pretty decadent with some added. Maybe on the next cup.

Tried to give this tea some time to mellow out in my cupboard, but the orange is pretty strong still and has a little bite. The chocolate comes out well and I do love the combo of orange and chocolate. With a little cream and sugar this is a pretty good cup. It isn’t as decadent and delicious as some other orange/choco teas, but it is very enjoyable which is good because I still have a ton of it. Never. Buying. Tea. By. The. Pound. Again.

OMG! I made this way too strong! Dumping half the cup and refilling with water in an attempt to try to save it. I added a little sugar. The orange flavor is dominating. There are a ton of orange peels in this. I’m not able to pick out the blueberry. Not wowing me.
