13 Tasting Notes
I was not planning on purchasing Teavana but their 75% off deal suckered me in. I wish this tea did not have hibiscus in it, but for what it is, it is good. There is a subtle sweetness below the tartness of the hibiscus. Next time, I’ll let it steep for longer.
Preparation
I adore tisanes. I’ve had quite a few from celestial seasoning that I would even call good. However, no matter how long I stepped this tea, the only flavor was a subtle tartness. Sugar did not help, icing it did not help. I’m disappointing.
Preparation
First cup I had of this was bearable- after having a second I think this is primarily because I drank it straight. It is best when still hot. It is a bit more astringent than I prefer and also has a very grassy taste as it cools. In order to make my second cup more drinkable, I added some muddled lime, even this failed to help the flavor.
