drank Earl of Anxi by Verdant Tea
129 tasting notes

Mmm…I have enjoyed one pot of this today and about to do a re-steep
and enjoy a second pot. I frequently brew a pot of tea to enjoy rather than by the cup.
This tea is so lovely… Hints of citrus, flowers, and yet a bit woody…
such a perfect blend….

Preparation
2 tsp 14 OZ / 400 ML

drank Sichuan Caravan by Verdant Tea
129 tasting notes

Yanxin’s puer, ginger, elderberry, licorice root, etc. ~ the elderberry and licorice root are among my favorite elements as well as the puer. The dry version smells a bit perfumey?
, but the steeped tea is not at all perfumey and rather is rich and decadent.
I would definitely recommend this as well as order again. Thanks Verdant, for another
fabulous creation…This blend is AMAZING!

A nice, bold cuppa
I spiked it with a bit of honey…
talk about Heaven…
wonderful way to start the day

CelebriTEA

This one stands up well for a solid re-steep
(2nd steep is great!)
Thanks Harney & Sons…
I love that you supply quality bagged teas…

drank L'Abricot by Fauchon
129 tasting notes

This smells as divine dry as it tastes brewed.
A subtle apricot without added peach.
The black base is perfect; without any detected astringency.
It is lovely sweetened with a bit of stevia.
I would not sweeten with honey as I am afraid it would
upset the delicate balance…jmho…
Thank you, Miss B, I appreciate your generosity.
This tea is beautiful ♡

drank Passion by Tazo
129 tasting notes

Sooo…Tazo calls this an exuberant herbal infusion and I AGREE
A little tart,but I just LOVE the hibiscus & orange peel …
The passionfruit is understated but contributes to a successful YUM!
I dont care so much for a second infusion and prefer a new bag evry time
for that fresh sweet/tart… that I fall in love with each sip
I am glad there are some wonderful bagged teas out there
for times like now when I am stuck in the hospital…

tigress_al

Feel better soon!

mrmopar

Prayers sent your way!

CelebriTEA

♡Love this Tea♡
My favorite from Steepster Select.
Nicely floral, but pleasantly sweet with just a touch of stevia.
With the second steeping I get a bit of fruitiness and honestly
I steeped this about 3 times…I simply enjoyed it all throughout the day.

drank Nutmeg Cream by Butiki Teas
129 tasting notes

Not posting a number…I accidently over steeped it and it was God awful.
Can anyone offer me their best steeping instructions for this?
Thanks a bunch!

Suziqzer

I’m not familiar with that one yet, so I can’t help you but the name sounds enticing. I hope you can find it’s sweet spot !

CelebriTEA

Thanks Suzi…I love Nutmeg…I am thinking I need to steep it shorter…
Perhaps add a little honey…? Hopefully, I can turn it around…

Dustin

Just had a cup of this and it was really good. I did a 3m steep in boiling water. I added a little cream and sugar before tasting it because I was in the mood and it turned out really nice. I used just over 1tsp in about 8oz water. Good luck on your next steep!

Verdant’s review is spot on.
I love bergamot (here grapefruit & orange)
I have never been big on chocolate in tea, but lately
a couple have really turned my head….
This being one of them ;-D
Congrat’s Verdant…this one is worthy of Celebration!
Great for a bubble bath, reading a book by the fire or
Or just plain relaxing in your favorite cuddle nook~
This lovely tea makes dealing with these terrible low outside temps bearable ♡

drank Obukucha by Steepster

This is a very fresh & clean tasting green tea.
I don’t taste the eucalyptus, pine or sorrel individually,
AND although this tea tastes slightly medicinal in a way I
cannot adequately describe… I truly like this tea so much.
It is a very nice palate cleansing tea and would be good with
Oriental foods (Chinese, Thai, Japanese, etc…)
But could easily be enjoyed after dinner and before any dessert.
This is GOOD ;-)
