drank Ice Cream Cake by DAVIDsTEA

A refreshing cool early autumn evening, all is still and serene for a Friday. So while listening to the nostalgic sounds of KSQM and reading through “Bel Ami” I chose this delicious offering. The flavors of the ice cream is really well emulated in the blend. The sweetness is not too overpowering and satisfies the craving for dessert without the added calories. The warm fragrance adds to the effect of the tea and subtly paints the picture of that slice of cake. It’s definitely a keeper for the sweet tooth. <3

I most likely will have to try this tea hot. It tastes like Cherry coke and smells like it but somehow when it was cold it was too strong. I tried to drink it slowly in the car feeling that it would grow on me but strangely it didn’t work and I had to dump it in the sink. And for a David’s blend I was definitely surprised.

drank Caramel Spice by DAVIDsTEA

Currently drinking this tonight while typing this review. The fragrant notes and the warmth of the cinnamon really work to make this tea perfect for the turn of the season. It was one of my favorites next to Pumpkin Chai from the fall collection. Suffice to say I stocked up on this one. The mulberries really lent well to provide that caramel taste and I loved that fact.

It was last May at West Edmonton Mall when I first tried this tea. I had eaten something rather spicy at one of the restaurants on Bourbon Street. My stomach wasn’t exactly happy to say the least after that but after arriving to David’s I ordered one cup of this Spearmint tea it more than helped. The cooling effects of the mint as well as the medicinal notes settled the aches and I was able to go on with the rest of the day. Refreshed and re-energized.

drank Glitter & Gold by DAVIDsTEA

I can remember like yesterday the first ever tea I tried at David’s. What entranced me most when shown this blend was the magical shimmering effect when the sugar crystals melted. It really did look enchanting and the scent was tantalizing. Slowly I would bring the cup to my lips to take in the full deep flavor notes. Mmm..the cinnamon sweet taste was just as wonderful as expected. It was not too overwhelming like some cinnamon teas and made me fall in love with trying more from the store. Ever since then I’ve been hooked and try to visit the store at least once a week.
