391 Tasting Notes
Super tasty! The combination of green teas makes this one really good. It’s thicker than just tea and more savory. I think that matcha makes it have a cool slightly cloudy green look. Only thing was that it seemed to suck up a lot of water while steeping leaving less than I thought I’d have in my cup. More water next time?
This smells really good – very lemony. The taste was really bad at first but that’s probably because I just blindly put the whole packet in a filter for one cup which was too much. Last box, it was 2 packets of each tea and you just put a packet per filter (10 packets total). This one is 5 packets so I guess we are to split the contents. Didn’t realize that till I was looking for this tea to input the tasting note and read it on Skulleigh’s note that it’d changed. I adjusted for the second cup and it was much better. I guess I should have paid more attention myself, but some note really would have been good to include when things changed. It was a good earl grey with strong citrus taste after all.
Definitely more mint than chocolate. I couldn’t taste the chocolate till after sipping, more like an aftertaste? The leaf totally puffed up in steeping, I was a little worried it’d taste horrible because I had too much leaf but it was alright. Not going to be one of my favorite teas so far but it’s not bad. Not really what I was looking for right now, need something sweeter…
Ah nice, smooth & smoky, but I think I’m getting tired of it. That’s why it’s definitely better to buy in small amounts for me… I really want to drink it down but not enjoying it so much any more. Smoked out? Maybe. Eh, but just got like a couple cups I think. No more smokey teas for me for a bit.
This is totally a dessert tea, really good. Creamy chocolate and strawberry taste… A nice treat. Puerh was a little scary, after I’d had one sample that I could not stand at all and had to toss, but these flavored ones from Lupicia are good. So good that I think someone’s drank some without telling me…
