The color was a bit alarming at 4 minutes, it was so dark but it wasn’t too strong at all and not bitter. I could taste tea and coffee, the smell was delicious. I tasted it plain and then couldn’t resist trying out some vanilla creamer and it was so good I think this one might have to be re-ordered :)

drank Caramel & Rum by Lupicia

I got a tea sachet of this from Lupicia. It is a tasty tea but the rum is more pronounced in smell and taste. It has a pleasing smell and aftertaste. I added sugar to the last half but it doesn’t add anything special. I wish I had more to try with some milk.

Increasing the amount of tea & adding cream and sugar really helped me like the tea – 4tsp for my full travel mug steeped for 7 minutes. It isn’t hot like I thought it’d be, just a hint of chili (barely) but the chocolate smell and taste is satisfying.

I shouldn’t make tea at work, I think I overstepped it because it was a little bitter. The smell was yummy though, definitely like the lifesavers candy like people have said.

Bio

Hello! I am loving reading tasting notes and discovering a whole world of teas. My favorite type is definitely black teas. I prefer flavored, dessert types. I love sample sizes so I can try a little of each and have had fun swaps :). My bank account has been crying since I found steepster but I’m trying to exercise (find) some restraint and it helps that I know I’m not alone lol.
