This is a very nice ripe from Puerhshop. It was sweet with little bitterness. There was a fair amount of fermentation taste but it wasn’t overpowering or funky tasting. It was dark and rich in the early infusions. One might even say notes of chocolate but I am not completely sure on that note as I wasn’t paying attention to the specifics but was just enjoying the tea. This tea while I wouldn’t call it phenomenal was quite good. And a bargain for the price I think of just $21 for a bing.

I steeped the tea twelve times in a 150ml gaiwan with 10.2g leaf and boiling water. I gave it a 10 second rinse. I steeped if for 5 sec, 5 sec, 7 sec, 10 sec, 15 sec, 20 sec, 25 sec, 30 sec, 45 sec, 1 min, 1.5 min, and 2 minutes.

Flavors: Earth, Sweet

Preparation
Boiling 10 g 5 OZ / 150 ML

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
