drank Rooibos Ginseng by Simpson & Vail
1758 tasting notes

Picked this one tonight because I am again avoiding caffeine. It is somewhat sweet and somewhat zesty from the ginseng. Ginseng has an interesting flavor to say the least. It is slightly savory in nature but slightly zesty. It has an appealing taste that is hard to describe. Simpson and Vail’s best rooibos teas are this sort of savory rooibos teas. They don’t in my opinion do as well in the category of sweet rooibos.

I brewed this once in an 18oz teapot with 3 tsp leaf and boiling water for 5 min.

Flavors: Sweet

Preparation
Boiling 5 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 18 OZ / 532 ML

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
