I found this tea is definitely better iced and with a shorter steep time than the package recommends. It’s a very pleasant blueberry tea and really yummy. I found that when I steeped it hot or for too long it took on a medicinal quality.. or at least I think so. It might just be the black currant coming out more though and medicine is what my brain is thinking. So the bottom line is DRINK IT COLD.
Today I felt like some sweet tea and it has nothing to do with the fact that I was sick yesterday and it snowed. Or the fact that today it is -20C. Nope nothing to do with all that at all. I’m just at work and staring at mountains of snow wishing for spring and +1C
Okay I was going to write this note earlier but life got in the way. So my first cup of this was spectacularly awesome. It was a nice creamy mint that was perfect. Now for some unknown reason after that I found it got sometimes too sweet near the end. Similar to teas with Chamomile in them. So I would definitely recommend this to everyone as it is extremely yummy.
Not nearly as good as Laoshan Black or the chai version but it’s still a good cup. I just put in an order to Teavivre since I haven’t ordered from them in ages. I think I’ll rotate my orders from the companies so no one feels left out and I don’t run out of yummy tea! So next time I order it will be Butiki’s Teas turn :D
Dang it, it is still really cold outside! Go away you pesky mountains of snow that ring the work parking lot. Seriously I could hike those things and get a free workout. I am sooo tired of this crummy weather. Where is that nice -1C or better yet +1C? Oh well thank goodness I have this tea to get through it all. I can’t wait to see what Verdant has coming in the February Month Club ( I have the bundle subscription) also once I finish some more tea out of my cupboard I’ll order some more of the good stuff from Butki.
