Tried this teabag from a TTB, and it’s one of the weakest EGs I’ve ever had. It barely tastes like anything. I taste the black tea, but only the tiniest hint of flavor. Perhaps it was better at its prime – you never know with TTB teas.

Teabag from a TTB. Though the flavor is milder than it could be, I actually enjoyed this a fair amount with some added soy milk. I could taste a little bit of chocolate along with some very mild chai spices. Not a bad choice for a bagged herbal option. I drank the resteep of this combined with a resteep of Adagio’s honeybush banana nut, and those were very nice together.

I’m spoiled by the awesome 52teas fruity green tea blends. This one from the TTB is just pretty meh in comparison. I taste fruitiness and low quality plantlike green tea. It’s fine cold, but boring. It was also really cloudy for some reason?

Teabag from a TTB. I taste some low quality cinnamon. It’s okay? It’s a pretty boring one-note chai. It was better warm. After going in the fridge, it became quite plain.

Sample from a TTB. This tastes so savory and herbaceous. I tried it cold, and I didn’t want more than a few sips.

I was so happy to see more Red Rose in a recent TTB! The strongest flavor is probably the stevia, which I don’t mind. I also taste a bit of a fake banana. Then I notice something like walnut – I guess that’s the roasted carob? Though the flavors are pretty fake, I enjoy the dessertiness of this one with some added milk.

Sample from a TTB. This is a pretty simple blend, but it tastes nice cold. I taste the chamomile and mint. I have several teas like it on my shelf, so I didn’t feel the need to have more than a cup, but this was a pretty high quality version of this flavor profile.

Teabag from a TTB. It tastes mostly like a harsh, stale black tea. I guess maybe I can taste a hint of flavoring, but really not a lot. I didn’t bother finishing the cup.

Sample from a TTB. The CTC base is really strong in this one. On top of that, I taste some spiciness from the pepper and ginger. The spices blend pretty evenly. This is a strong, well-rounded, fulfilling chai – I don’t see those often enough! The resteep was worthwhile too.

I had this many years ago but never left a note for it, so I was glad to try it again in a recent TTB. I enjoyed my first few sips, but the flavor faded, and it ended up tasting pretty plain and meh. I got a bit of nuttiness, but mostly boring black tea.
