This tea has the aroma of molasses and the dry leaves are curled to resemble small snails. It is malty and sweet with a honey wheat flavor to it. It is not bad, but not for me.

This tea has an aroma of fresh cut hay. It has a light body and a velvety texture. This tea taste of hay and cucumber and has a subtle sweetness. It is pretty good, but there are better Silver Needle white teas out there.

This tea is a fairly light oolong with pale amber color and a sweet baked aroma. It has a sweetness and texture that reminds me of apple juice, a nice baked flavor, and floral notes. This is a very tasty tea with a nice complexity to it.

This tea is a medium oolong with a rich amber color and a woodsy baked aroma. It is sweet tasting with notes of cedar, berries, and roasted brown sugar. As the tea cools, it becomes a little more fruity, which I am not big on. It is a good tea, but not really one for me.

I love the look of this tea, it is a large 8 gram rolled up ball of white, yellow, and black leaves. I couldn’t help myself and steeped the whole ball, even though it is more tea than I usually steep at one time. It steeps darker than most whites I have had, but it has the honeydew haw flavor of a good white. There is also the subtle flavor of a young raw pu-erh on the back end. It is a tasty tea, which is nice because I was worried that it was just trying to get by on its looks.

I got this tea as a sample and just to try it I steeped it western with the 5 g sample pack in 8 oz of water, which is not my normal method. I was only going to do one steeping and I was not sure how long to go, but I went with 2’30". The tea has the aroma of a light raw pu-erh and a similar color. It is earthy with a background flavor of plums.
